Stephen Legault and Jenn Hoffman are the principals of Highwatermark Strategy and Communications.
Jenn has over twenty-five years of experience as a program director, strategist, development and communications specialist, and evaluator in the conservation, education, and disaster risk reduction sectors. Experienced in non-profit management, fund development, and strategic and operational planning, Jenn is well-positioned to help organizations deliver on their mission-driven work.
With a long-running passion for environmental conservation, in recent years Jenn has focused on the climate/disaster risk reduction nexus. Her current efforts help to build strategic partnerships and advance innovative projects that reduce disaster risk and strengthen community resiliency.
She holds a Master of Education from the University of Victoria and is currently pursuing a Master in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University. Learn more about Jenn here.
Stephen has been active in the conservation movement in North America since 1988. He was the founder of Wildcanada.net, Canada’s first online advocacy portal, and served most recently as Program Director for Y2Y. He has served as the Senior Development Officer (Sustainability) at Royal Roads University. His conservation achievements include the protection of more than 1,000,000 hectares of wildland across Canada and the United States.
Stephen is an experienced political analyst and campaign volunteer, having worked on elections for nearly a dozen provincial and federal candidates.
He is a facilitator, public speaker, and experienced government relations, public engagement, grassroots organizing and strategy development and implementation specialist.
